The client may, at its own expense, assist this defense if it so wishes, provided that the licensor controls this defense and all negotiations relating to the settlement of such a claim. The Customer shall immediately notify the Licensor in writing of all claims that the Customer considers to fall within the scope of this exemption provision of the Contract. In the event that the Software or any part thereof is considered a violation and its use is alleged, the Licensor may, at its discretion and expense (i) modify the software that violates the right so that it is not contrary to the law, ii) give the Customer the right to continue using the software that violates the right, or (iii) such software through appropriate software: Software that does not violate the right. . . .
